What Is Shutter Speed?

It is one of the three things you need to know in order to use the camera effectively. In French (instantané), it means instantly. In photography, it is the system that adjusts the time the sensor will be exposed to light. For example, if you want to draw a plane propeller that moves very fast, you need to lower the shutter speed as much as possible. This is also called exposure time. It is displayed on the machine as a fractional or integer value. The shutter speed is inversely proportional to the magnitude of the given value. Sometimes you need a snapshot to project the action that takes place in the photo, or you may need it when the light needs to be absorbed too much by the sensor, such as exposing the stars. You should use a tripod if possible, as the camera will be affected by even the slightest vibration when making long exposures. The lens you choose affects shutter speed due to focal length. It is important to choose the appropriate lens, depending on how you take a picture. Long exposure cannot be done during the day without the help of the Nd filter, as it will absorb light a lot.
